How about the people who got refund advance through Turbotax. Will it go onto our Turbotax card? Do SSI recipients need to do anything if they get their SSI benefits via direct deposit? What if the account that had a direct deposit was closed?

If you receive SSI by direct deposit, you don't need to do anything it will be automatically deposited on your account. I thought a direct deposit is done via computers and servers.
It's not like you got an old lady licking envelopes. So what's the holdup. Meanwhile credit card companies able to withdraw my money at warp 7 speed out of my bank account.
You do not have to file a tax return to get the stimulus. If you go onto the IRS website there is a portal that you can go into to add your direct deposit information.
If you need to enter your direct deposit information go to IRS a Stimulus Portal that will allow you to file a simple return + claim dependants. Have your documents on hand. I filed mine yesterday, got approved within 12 hours, now waiting on deposit.
If you are on SSI you don't have to do anything, they will send the money to the same account that you get your SSI direct deposited, or if you get your SSI by check you have to wait to the other portal is open to updating with your bank information.
Anyone with a USAA account gets theirs?
#TRUMP just rejected bailout for U.S. Postal Service battered by corona-virus GREAT! So go to https://t.co/KRjG7JbyPD and put in your deposit information if not you will be waiting for a minute! pic.twitter.com/Vum8kXt6mN— Fernández R (@FernandezR2017) April 11, 2020
Who qualifies to receive money from the Senate coronavirus relief plan?
Active duty US military stationed overseas, who already got tax return direct deposited. Saw Covid19 relief payment of $1,200 pending on Good Friday 04/10/2020 got money deposited Saturday 04/11/2020. US military troops working in medical stationed overseas in Europe.
This is a payment meant to flood the economy with some quick cash, almost taxpayers will receive it. We have a similar system to yours for unemployment. We pay x percentage of income for a number of weeks and for a few months the feds will throw in an additional $600. In and of itself, $1200 US currency will not make a dent in anyone’s situation.
It won't be accessible until next week. Banks have to reconcile the transactions. You can take money out instantly, but it normally takes 3 days to deposit money unless it's cash.
The only people who claim to have gotten theirs are using the same debunked photos etc. Has ANYONE actually GOTTEN theirs? I'm on social security w direct deposit, 8,000yr income.
President Donald Trump has said that he "likes the concept" of the second round of payments and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said on CNN last month that "we think we'll get more direct payments in another bill," suggesting that Congress could revisit the issue.
